PSYCHOTherapist

"We shall not cease from exploration and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time"

ABOUT

I believe in the ability of psychotherapy to bring us to a fuller understanding of ourselves. A skilled therapist can provide the opportunity to respond to the past and enable individuals to identify what they want and what their obstacles are.
With a foundation based on a strong, safe therapeutic relationship, a belief in the unconscious and respect for your own pace, I will help you examine the impact and meaning of your experience. I want the people I see to feel less alone with this work.
I work with people in the areas of depression, trauma, anxiety and self-esteem, as well as issues of childhood, relationships, grief and loss, and issues of aging and adjustment.
Additionally, I have worked with many artists, writers and performers over the years and feel particularly equipped to understand the world of creative people and the challenges and deep emotions they face in their work.
I believe the therapist's job is to accompany and assist each patient in examining their life, wondering about it and putting together a deeper awareness of who they are.
